Under the direction of the manager of Integrations and Financial Apps, this position is responsible for application development using all phases of the software development lifecycle (requirements gathering, design, testing, production, and maintenance). The incumbent will bring their knowledge and experience in order to analyze, design, build and document specifications for applications using the Angular, NestJS, and MongoDB database platform with Drupal experience preferred. There will also be times when back-end development is required using micro-services frameworks such as Micronaut. Additionally, the Developer will collaborate with fellow developers and business analysts to support discovery and requirements gatherings in an agile development environment. This role also provides technical guidance, mentoring to other developers, and applies information technology best practices, community standards, and relevant policies and procedures to medium to large sized projects with high-level scope and complexity. Additionally, works with campus stakeholders to resolve a wide range of issues and demonstrates competency in selecting tools, methods, and techniques to obtain results. This position will be expected to schedule, demo, and preside over meetings with application/campus stakeholders and ITS leadership team.This position is classified as predominantly remote with occasional visits to campus as needed. Working hours will be based on Pacific Standard Time (PST). The full salary range for the Web Developer is $71,100 to $128,700 annually. However, the pay scale for this position is up to $115,000 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position.
