Job Description
The UPS Store #2523 located on Douglas Blvd is urgently looking to fill multiple full time and part time sales associate positions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES :
-Provide excellent customer service in an over-the-counter retail environment.
-Process customer shipments via UPS computer systems.
-Includes weight and measurement of packages.
-Pack customer packages utilizing UPS Packaging Guidelines and materials.
-Utilize cash register to complete customer transactions; reconcile registers.
-Mail sorting and placement into customer mailboxes-Perform other mail duties as assigned.
-Sell other products and services of The UPS Store.
-Assist customers with copy, print, notary, and fax services.
-Perform various printing responsibilities using common software applications. (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator).
-Other general housekeeping responsibilities as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS :
-Excellent customer service skills-Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in oral and written (e.g., email) form.
-Good typing and computer skills-Good quantitative aptitude.
-Ability to work a cash register and reconcile at end of day.
-Ability to stand for 8 hours; ability to lift 50 lbs.-High school diploma; some college or degree preferred.
REQUIRED AVAILABILITY : Monday-Friday, 8:00am-6:30pm, Saturday, 9am-5:30pm.
Job Type : Full-time/part-time
Required education : High school or equivalent
Required experience : Retail: 3 years preferred
Salary : $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Shift : Day shift
COVID-19 considerations : COVID testing required prior to start of work. Plexiglass shields installed at POS stations.
Ability to commute/relocate : Douglasville, GA 30135: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
