**Description** SAIC is seeking a Software Engineer IPT. They will be performing Software Engineering activities related to Information Technology or Engineering including concept of operations formulation, requirements definition, analysis and engineering, system architecting, system analysis and design, interface and data architectures, validation and verification, systems integration, system & op. performance analysis, Lifecycle cost analysis & estimation, decision analysis and physical configuration analysis (PCA). Ensuring the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performing functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements int hardware and software or engineering specifications. Providing specific, detailed information for selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. From an information technology perspective, may be concerned with floor layout, power & cooling, data storage, infrastructure management, backup, monitoring, operating systems, directory services, identity management, access management, and automation. **Qualifications** Education: -Bachelors and 9 years of experience, Masters and 7 years of experience. -13 years of experience in lieu of degree. -Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a DOD Secret clearance. Desired Qualifications: -Active DOD Secret Clearance. -Active DOD TOP Secret Clearance. Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors. SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
