JOB TITLE: Social Media Coordinator

Summary:

Car Dealership Guy Media is seeking to hire a Social Media Coordinator with a high sense of urgency and a desire to make an impact at the fastest growing media company in the Automotive Industry. As a vital member of the team, you will be responsible for assisting our content production team and interacting with our sponsors regularly. The ideal candidate is obsessively organized with high attention to detail.

About Car Dealership Guy Media:

We're a new kind of media company on a mission to bring transparency to the car market. Our goal is to become the premier destination for automotive insights, catering to both dealers and consumers.

From industry secrets to best practices, detailed analyses and hidden opportunities—we strive to unveil it all. Our core belief is that increasing transparency will lead to a better car buying, selling, and ownership experience for both dealers and consumers.

Within 12 months of launching, CDG Media has gained renown for our flagship Car Dealership Guy brand, which includes a top-rated podcast, a weekly newsletter and viral social channels, boasting over 80 million impressions monthly.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Threads and YouTube alongside Car Dealership Guy himself! (it's a lot... I promise)
• Own the daily posting schedule and assist CDG in creating engaging content (text, image, video) for social media platforms
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner
• Analyze social media insights to guide future strategies and optimize content performance
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Content, Design) to create compelling campaigns

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in an social media marketing role with a proven track record of high performance
• Strong problem solver with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Obsessively organized and detail oriented
• Self starter that can get shit done with minimal oversight, but knows when to ask for help
