Job Description



This supervisory role is responsible for sales and management of sales representatives in designated midwest region.  The Regional Manager will promote and grow the MasterBrand Cabinets, LLC (MBC) business within The Home Depot home improvement stores while capturing market share from existing competitors.  Responsibilities also include:  directing product/sales training; competitive analysis; strategic planning; and employee development. 

Organizational Relationship:  

Reports directly to the Sr Director, Field Sales Home Center.

Accountabilities:  

  • Grow MasterBrand sales of the Thomasville brand (all collections) at The Home Depot 

  • Hire, train, and supervise Sales Representatives in the region 

  • Develop a business plan, including strategies for growth and priorities, for the Region 

  • Oversee the development of a Territory Plan for each Sales Representative 

  • Oversee a call schedule for each territory 

  • Support and direct day-to-day activities for the Sales Representatives 

  • Ensure the Sales Representatives follow the MBC Selling System and appropriately leverage the MBC Playbook 

  • Be an effective coach and mentor to each of the Sales Representatives, providing regular and meaningful constructive feedback 

  • Serve as a proactive issue resolution manager 

  • Build relationships with key contacts at The Home Depot 

  • Ability to travel frequently as business needs require 

  • Consistently demonstrate teamwork, integrity, a strong work ethic, confidence, and passion 

  • Other duties as may be assigned at management’s discretion 

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal skills 

  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills 

  • Documented sales success 

  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, 20/20) 

  • Industry knowledge 

  • Ability to work with many functional departments 

  • Valid driver’s license in good standing and an acceptable driving record 

  • Bachelor’s degree required 

  • Strong MS Excel skills are a must 

  • Experience with large home center environments is preferred 

  • Territory management experience is preferred 

  • Supervisory experience is highly preferred
