ASI is seeking an experienced Logistician to work in Jacksonville, FL. Logisticians perform various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems and information systems.
Responsibilities - Lead the execution of tasks by applying DoD logistics techniques, principles, and precedents for military weapon systems or associated support equipment or components
- Provide technical and management disciplines associated with the design, development, sustainment and improvement to support readiness and sustainability requirements
- Review, analyze, develop, prepare, or apply engineering, technical, or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures
- Perform support for maintenance planning, technical data, supply, support equipment, and training
- Organize, analyze, and prepare reports or presentations of technical data and information
- Develop, modify, prepare, or validate documentation in relation to engineering, maintenance, and management information systems
- Perform configuration management as it relates to systems and sub-systems
- Initiate and manage Technical Directives by researching, developing, and/or managing data and equipment
- Support the maintenance program by researching material availability from government and commercial sources
- Develop and update supply and provisioning data to include Source Maintenance and Recoverability (SM&R) coding
- Develop and update data for technical manuals including repair, inspection, and Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB) manuals
Required Qualifications - 10 years of experience in operational logistics support/maintenance to include
- Industrial and logistics maintenance planning or sustainment support
- Technical analysis of operational Integrated Product Support (IPS) requirements or operational logistics planning with the ability to perform IPS studies, analysis, and evaluations in support of DoD weapons systems/equipment
- Bachelor’s degree
- Associate’s degree plus an additional 4 years of acquisition or operational logistics support/maintenance experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus an additional 6 years of operational logistics support/maintenance experience may be substituted for Bachelor’s degree
Desired Qualifications - Naval Aviation Maintenance Administration/Management experience
- Naval Aviation Supply experience
- Navy or Marine Corps aircraft maintenance experience
- Familiarity with online tools such as JEDMICS, JDRS, Haystack, OneTouch, Deckplate, EMALL, etc.
- Defense Acquisition experience
- DAWIA certification
Work Authorization/Security Clearance - Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be qualified to obtain a Secret Clearance
