**Regional Admissions Recruiter**
**Overview:**
As a Regional Admissions Recruiter, you will play a vital role in our Admissions team, dedicated to attracting and guiding prospective students through the acceptance process. This position is based in the DC, Maryland, or Virginia area and involves developing and implementing successful recruitment strategies across assigned regions. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing recruitment travel, fostering inquiries and applications, and building connections with key influencers in the college search journey.
This role requires remote work and may involve some night driving.

**Education:**
- Bachelor's Degree Required
**Experience:**
- Experience in college admissions is preferred, or related professional experience in marketing/sales, customer service, human services, or education.
- Travel and recruitment experience within the assigned regional area is preferred.
- Experience with remote work is preferred.

**Responsibilities:**
- Engage in all aspects of the College's off-campus recruitment program.
- Manage a robust travel schedule for your assigned geographic territory, including in-state and out-of-state student recruitment and travel to other territories as needed.
- Plan and attend high school and career & technical education center visits, classroom presentations, college fairs, transfer fairs, and other recruitment events.
- Maintain appropriate correspondence before and after visits or events.
- Develop data-driven recruitment strategies for your assigned territory and evaluate their effectiveness, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Coordinate specialized programming for your territory, such as regional information sessions and campus bus trips.
- Cultivate relationships with secondary school counselors, community-based organizations, community college personnel, and other influencers in the college search process.
- Deliver presentations to groups of prospective students and their supporters off campus.
- Monitor and analyze data and reports to track progress toward enrollment goals.
- Manage and recommend a budget for recruitment activities within your assigned territory.
- Provide comprehensive support and follow-up to prospective students and their supporters through various communication modes.
- Develop and implement strategies to manage and advance inquiries and applicants through the admissions funnel.
- Collaborate with campus-wide offices to provide necessary information to convert inquiries into applicants.
- Assess applications for inactivity and suggest cancellations when appropriate.
- Assist prospective transfer students with understanding the College's external transcript evaluation process and conduct unofficial transcript evaluations.
- Participate in virtual recruitment activities, such as information sessions, online chats, webinars, and college fairs.
- Support the College's marketing initiatives.
- Contribute to the Admissions Office social media activity.
- Utilize the office's CRM system effectively, ensuring data integrity and timely data entry.
- Provide telephone and chat coverage during remote work hours as needed.
- Engage in professional organizations related to the work of a regional admissions recruiter.
- Maintain knowledge of general office procedures.
- Stay informed about Admissions policies and procedures and recommend revisions as appropriate.
- Understand the majors across academic schools, including special admissions requirements.
- Be knowledgeable about all aspects of the College's matriculation process beyond Admissions, such as financial aid, placement testing, new student advising, course scheduling, bill paying, orientation, residence life, and move-in.
- Understand guidelines related to the confidentiality of student information and records (FERPA).
**Additional Responsibilities:**
- Assist with the development, implementation, and assessment of special projects and other duties as assigned.
- If you are bilingual, assist prospective and enrolled students/parents/supporters speaking your second language with any aspect of the application and enrollment process.
**Physical Standards and Special Job Features:**
- Some lifting required, not exceeding 50 pounds.
- Some night driving.
**Pay Transparency:**
Based on minimum education and experience qualifications, the yearly salary range is $55,000 - $63,000.
