Job Description

1st Shift : 5:00am-1:30pm
Pay rate: $17.00/hr.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Perform Entry level operations (Sorting, Aliquoting, Labware cleaning)
o Reliable inspection of small beads
o Pack and sample reagent beads coming out of the freeze-drier
o Maintain work area in compliance with GLP and cGMP
o Follow Zoetis Safety Practices
o Support company goals and objectives, policies and standard operating procedures
o Maintain accurate logs and operational binders
o Provide feedback to Supervisor when a deviation from accepted practice or safety issue is recognized
TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
o Working knowledge of basic laboratory techniques
o Assist in the development and maintenance of procedures used in Reagent Bead manufacturing
o Will train new hires
o Candidate should be able to keep up with the flow of production
o Detail-oriented and organized
o Good communication skills
o Some technical and mechanical skills
o Computer skills (Excel)

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: H.S. diploma/GED prefered. 0 to 2+ year experience in a Mfg. environment (experience in a fast-paced environment or medical device company helpful).
In absence of high school/GED, candidate should have 3 years relevant Mfg. experience or 5 years overall experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Be able to lift 20 lbs.
Utilize Personal Protection Equipment including, but not limit to, hair cover, masks, eye protection, gloves.

Pay Details: $17.00 per hour
