MS-IL Staffing & Packaging, and its local client, are NOW HIRING a Reach Truck Operator  in the  Hebron, Kentucky, area!

Pay: $19.00 / hour

Shift:  Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Weekend work available and voluntary)

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team at the new Hebron facility. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with sit-down forklifts and will be trained to operate reach trucks at high levels. This role requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and the ability to perform both forklift operations and manual tasks involving heavy lifting.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts and adhere to all health and safety guidelines.
• Maneuver forklifts efficiently in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse following Crane SOPs.
• Consolidate partial pallets and stack/unstack goods on shelves or pallets.
• Prepare goods for shipping, including wrapping pallets with plastic and stacking wooden pallets.
• Relocate materials from storage to loading areas for outbound transport.
• Unload deliveries and place goods into designated storage areas.
• Inspect forklifts regularly for faults or damages and report issues promptly.
• Ensure work areas remain clean and free of obstructions to maintain a safe environment.
• Assist with inventory tracking by itemizing stock for records.

Job Requirements:

• Accredited forklift operating license is required.
• 1+ years of sit-down forklift experience, with a willingness to train on reach trucks.
• 6 months experience operating a Reach Truck is required.
• Strong teamwork skills to coordinate the movement of goods efficiently.
• Familiarity with warehouse health and safety procedures.
• Ability to lift and move 50 lbs. regularly and occasionally by hand.
• Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using fractions and decimals.
• Ability to read and complete forms, checklists, and other related documents.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to balance team and individual responsibilities.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, or balance for extended periods.
• Must be comfortable working in loud, cramped, and potentially hazardous industrial environments.

Additional Information:

• A flexible schedule is preferred but not required.
• This position involves floor work with heavy lifting of boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
• This is a client-specific role, and adherence to SOPs is required to ensure inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
