Position: Radiation Therapist

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our client's team on a full-time basis. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for administering radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to provide the highest quality of care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients according to the prescribed treatment plan
- Monitor and record patient's response to treatment and report any adverse reactions
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all treatments and patient information
- Educate and provide emotional support to patients and their families throughout the treatment process
- Maintain and operate radiation therapy equipment, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed
- Participate in quality assurance and safety procedures to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in radiation therapy technology and techniques
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field
- Certified and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current state license to practice as a Radiation Therapist
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
- Strong understanding of radiation therapy principles and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- CPR certification
