Job Description (Entry-Level Projet Manager)
The project manager (PM) plays a critical role in the leadership of the project team in order to achieve the project's objectives. The PM will work closely with the project team and stakeholders to determine and use the appropriate processes, inputs, tools and techniques to manage a project's objectives and deliverables. This position involves planning, executing, and monitoring the project scope, schedule, costs, risks, resources, and quality to meet the project goals. They want to bring on someone early in the career who they can help train and build up within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate between A&E Departments, Clients, and End Users with regard to project status and progress
- Maintain and monitor the project schedule and scope
- Compile project data into job progress reports
- Attend and participate in stakeholder meetings
- Document, implement and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings
- Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings
- Ensure project deadlines are met - Identify project deviations
- Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately
- Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable Qualifications:
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks, especially Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and OneNote
- Superior relationship and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Benefits (but things that we will teach at A&E as well)
- Knowledge of electrical materials and supply chain
- Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures
