Pizzaiolo for New Omakase Pizza Concept in East Village, NYC** We are thrilled to announce the opening of a brand-new, innovative dining experience in the heart of East Village, NYC! As part of a highly successful and growing restaurant group in New York City, we are launching a unique concept that combines the best of Neapolitan pizza traditions with a creative Japanese twist. Our new restaurant, set to open in November, will feature a cool omakase-style pizza experience along with a selection of Italian staples re-imagined with Japanese influences.
We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate **Pizzaiolo** to join our dynamic team and bring our vision to life.
**Position: Pizzaiolo**
- **Location**: East Village, NYC
- **Start Date**: Immediate hiring
- **Salary**: $80,000 - $100,000 annually, based on experience

**Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and cook Neapolitan-style pizzas to the highest standards, adhering to traditional techniques while embracing innovative recipes and flavors.
- Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and execute a menu that blends Italian and Japanese culinary traditions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen, ensuring all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and professional working environment.
- Work closely with the restaurant management team to ensure a seamless and exceptional dining experience for all guests.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as a Pizzaiolo, with expertise in making authentic Neapolitan pizza.
- Strong knowledge of pizza-making techniques, including dough preparation, stretching, and baking in a wood-fired oven.
- Creativity and willingness to experiment with new flavors and ingredients, particularly in fusing Italian and Japanese cuisines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for the art of pizza-making and a commitment to delivering outstanding quality and service.
