Seeking Media & Marketing Intern:

Looking for an opportunity to learn about the media industry and get hands-on experience in the Entertainment, Fashion, Marketing & Media industry? 

The LA Girl is seeking an aspiring media & marketing professional to join our fall internship program and assist in the planning and implementation of The LA Girl’s content across platforms. Our interns work directly with our executive business and creative teams to assist with the planning and execution of our efforts across teams. Alongside fellow interns, you will learn how to execute strategies in a fast-paced environment. Owned by experienced Best Selling Author & Broadcast-Personality, Erika De La Cruz, The LA Girl covers all things fashion, travel, lifestyle, events & more. 

**This is a part-time unpaid internship for school credit (10-15 hrs per week) that is both remote and based out of our Los Angeles office with the possibility of turning into a paid position.**

Internship Program Details:

• Strategize and implement social media platforms; including; strategy, posting, scheduling, monitoring, engagement, and DMs.
• Conceptualize and write industry relevant articles using internal systems (visuals/copy)
• Build and schedule emails using internal systems (visuals/copy)
• Pull data and insights for weekly/monthly reports
• Actively monitor trends and proactively make recommendations for brand-relevant content creation opportunities and the latest social media trends
• Initiate and communicate with current and new partners and clients
• Maintain internal project management tool for internal projects
• Attend weekly team meetings on Tuesdays at 10:00am PST
• Craft content strategies and communication plans to support all business goals
• Work alongside fellow interns to increase brand awareness, audience engagement, and audience size for each channel

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of all social media platforms 
• Attend weekly remote meetings with team Tuesdays 10:00am PST
• Attend monthly in-person meeting with team 
• Must have basic knowledge and interest in Film, Fashion, Media and Pop-culture.
• Must have reliable form of transportation

Preferred Skill Sets:

• Strong understanding of Canva
• Proficient with Google Drive (Docs, Spreadsheets, etc.)
• Adobe Creative Cloud (preferred)
• Strong analytical skills with a goal-oriented attitude
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Team player, motivated, and collaborative
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong problem solving and project management skills
• Experience with photography is a plus
