Pay Rate: $29/HR plus based on Experience
Hours: Monday to Friday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
What’s a typical day as a Maintenance - Machinist? You’ll be:
• Operating and maintaining all machine shop equipment including manual Milling Machines, Lathes, Surface Grinders, and Saws.
• Modifying and sharpening production tooling.
• Specifying cutting tools required for effective machining.
• Fabricating components and tooling to drawing specifications.
• Fabricating and reconditioning lap plates using a manual Vertical Turret Lathe.
• Performing production equipment repair and modification. And such based on supervisor’s instruction
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Know how to operate manual lathes and Bridgeport’s
• Have a machining certificate/training (preferred but not required).
• Have 2 or more years of experience setting up and operating manual machinery listed above.
