IT Project Engineer/Tier 3 IT Support Engineer – Primarily remote in San Diego (preferred), or in Orange County. Not available outside of those two counties. Relocation not provided. No sponsorship available – MSP experience required

Looking to grow from solely escalations into project work? Enjoy working independently and solving problems? Have extensive Azure migration project experience stemming from a systems/network background? This may be the shop for you! This local MSP is hiring for a mid-level IT Project Engineer who will also handle some portion of Tier 3 IT Escalations.

Who You Are

• You have 3+ years of relevant professional experience as a Tier 3 IT Support Engineer, Systems Engineer or IT Project Engineer
• You have at least 1 year of experience working in a similar role within a MSP, with a focus on Microsoft products and O365
• Have experience with scripting and have performed multiple Azure migrations with focus on security
• You're familiar with Cisco Firepower and SonicWall
• Must be a US Citizen

What You'll Do

• Implement projects that the CTO and your senior partner have sold to respective clients in San Diego
• Hands-on technical work in Azure migrations, on-prem migrations, Azure file shares, drop box migrations, high-end firewalls and networking
• Support the Service Desk as a Tier 3 escalation point
• Work with a high sense of urgency

What does this position pay?

Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.

The expected base salary range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
