Job Title: Hardware Program Lead Location: Remote* Travel: Up to 50% to Indianapolis, IN 46225 Pay Rate: $50.00-60.00/hour Employment Type: Full time, direct with a full benefits package Shift: 1st #AutomationHardware #DCSandPLC #PharmaEngineering *This role can be performed virtually through 2024/2025, with periodic site (Indiana) visits. Starting January 2026, expect presence to increase. Starting in 2027 and through completion of the project, a full-time presence will be required* Overview: We are seeking a skilled Hardware Program Lead to set up and manage the hardware program for a large-scale pharmaceutical automation project. In this role, you will work closely with engineering firms and internal teams to oversee hardware design, development, and testing. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain reference architectures for DCS and PLC systems.
• Provide guidance on control panel design and collaborate on automation network design.
• Oversee automation hardware components, design requirements, and specifications.
• Maintain hardware design standards, testing templates, and verification procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure hardware integration with program components.
• Provide technical support and perform evaluations of hardware suppliers.
• Witness and verify Hardware Factory Acceptance Tests.
• Develop and oversee hardware qualification strategies for automation equipment.
• Communicate progress and challenges to the Program Automation Leader.

Requirements:

• Bachelor"s in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience with DeltaV DCS and Rockwell PLC architectures.
• Proven experience in large automation projects, with leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP, regulatory standards, and computer system validation.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to interact across disciplines.
