Job Description

Seeking a Full Time Live-in or Live-out Nanny/Household manager for a family of four with two boys (ages 4 and 7) and a baby girl expected in November. Ideal candidate is reliable and flexible since both parents are physicians with demanding and variable hospital schedules based in Boston. Looking for someone who can manage a busy household and provide care for the children.

Rate: $30-$35 per hour

Start Date : Late October 2024

Position Type: Long-term

Hours :

• Start Time: Earliest 6:30 AM
• End Time: Latest 6:30 PM
• Flexible Schedule: Discuss needs with the family. Possible arrangement of four long days with one day off (e.g., Monday).
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Need to be Adaptable & Flexible
• Any Hours over 40 would be paid overtime

• Extra Hours Available

Benefits: Use of Family Car, 2 weeks vacation, 3 to 5 sick personal days. $250 Health Care Stipend.

Live-in accommodations : private bedroom with bathroom.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Morning Routine: Assist with getting the children ready for school, including breakfast and dressing.
• School Drop-Off: Ensure timely drop-off of the children at their respective schools.
• After-School Activities: Pick up the children from school and manage their after-school activities.
• Light Meal Prep: Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children.
• Clean-Up: Tidy up after the children, including their eating areas and play spaces.
• Mini Projects: Handle occasional projects for the children while they are in school, such as changing out seasonal clothes.

• Infant Care: Provide care for the newborn once she arrives, including feeding, diapering, and soothing.

Requirements :

• Experience: Previous nanny experience and a background in childcare and newborn care required.
• Certifications: CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Health: Must be up-to-date with standard vaccinations (T-Dap, Covid, Flu).
• Non-Smoker: Smoking is not permitted in the home.
• Driving: Reliable transportation is necessary. A car may be provided for transporting the children.
• Ability to swim is required. This is a Must
• Pets: Comfortable with pets (2 cats and 1 dog).
• Provide 3-5 professional references .
