Job Description

Fine Dining Executive Chef opening. We have been around for over two decades but this is our first of many in New York. We celebrate the simple pleasures of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. Our Executive Chef will oversee food production and service for the restaurant. They must be able to lead with poise.

Executive Chef Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining consistency, quality, and integrity of all menu items
  • Directing all teams in preparation for service
  • Executing timely and proper service of all food items
  • Development of new items and recipes
  • Ensuring labor and food costs goals are met
  • Monitoring kitchen safety and cleanliness
  • Supervising weekly inventory count
  • Maintaining open and clear communication with the staff and owners

Executive Chef Requirements:

  • Full understanding of culinary techniques
  • Good organization skills
  • Ability to mentor and teach
  • Fine dining Italian technique cooking experience required
  • High Volume experience
