Summary

NetApp Learning Services is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accreditation and Certification Program Manager to play a pivotal role in driving the skill evaluation strategy at NetApp. As the industry leader in data management and storage solutions, NetApp recognizes the critical importance of industry standards and is committed to maintaining the highest level of expertise among its solution and product users, including customers, partners, and employees.

In this dynamic role, the Accreditation and Certification Program Manager will be entrusted with comprehensive oversight of NetApp's technical professional certification programs, sales and solutions consulting assessments, and product accreditations. By leveraging industry-leading best practices, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to extend and enhance NetApp's defensible certification brand, ensuring that individuals who possess NetApp certifications are recognized as top-tier professionals in their field.

Collaboration will be a key aspect of this role, as the Accreditation and Certification Program Manager will work closely with NetApp's Education Partners, Instructional Designers, and stakeholders to identify and address evaluation and badging needs. By fostering strong relationships and leveraging the expertise of various stakeholders, the incumbent will have the opportunity to shape and refine the certification programs to meet the evolving demands of the industry.

Central to the role is the management and oversight of all assessment and exam development activities. Working in collaboration with technical and sales subject matter experts across NetApp, the Accreditation and Certification Program Manager will play a vital role in the development of exam questions and other certification assets. By ensuring timely publication and rollout of new and revised exams, the successful candidate will contribute to the ongoing growth and relevance of NetApp's certification offerings.

Requirements

  • Lead a community of users, developing advocates/champions of certification and accreditation 
  • Partner with curriculum development to align portfolio content and certification exams 
  • Be the certification evangelist and amplify the power and value of  the certification program 
  • Develop integrated marketing communication deliverables to promote Certification (social media, web, event presence, newsletters, ads, etc) as well as internal awareness initiatives
  • Ensure Certification plays a central role at summits, conferences and meetups
  • Build and manage performance and adoption reports that provide insights into the success of the certification program
  • Manage the creation, administration, and maintenance of certification assets, according to exam blueprints
  • Manage an extended team including vendors that support our exam creation, exam delivery and asset management
  • Triage exam escalations, review and revise exams, act on user feedback
  • At least 8-10 years building and managing technical certification programs, including exam development, production, rollout, promotion, adoption, and bookings growth.
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional committees of subject matter experts
  • Experience conducting job-task analyses, item creation workshops, question writing training
  • Knowledge of modern proctoring tools, badging systems, and certification best practices
  • Capability to logically plan and set priorities, take initiative, identify and resolve problems to produce measurable results
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional planning, time management and organizational skills are required
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Positive, proactive and able to advocate for changes and improvements
  • Experience with badging strategies and gamification a plus
  • Experience with data management, storage, and public cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCE) a plus

Education

Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) is desired with a Minimum of 8+ years Technology Sales Experience.

Compensation
The OTE (On Target Earnings) Range for this position is $152k-$241k  and will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. Benefits may vary by country and region, and further details will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
