Job Title: Remote Entry-Level Certified Medical Coder

Location: Must reside in the Eastern or Central Time Zones

Key Responsibilities:
Review medical records and assign the appropriate CPT and ICD-10-CM codes to medical diagnoses and procedures.
Maintain workflow and productivity with a minimum accuracy rate of 95%.
Adhere to all company policies and HIPAA regulations.
Engage in continuous education to uphold coding certification standards.
Stay updated with coding guidelines, including:
Current ICD-10-CM Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting
2024 Documentation Guidelines for E/M Services
Work full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm.
Qualifications:
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Current CPC-A® or CPC® certification is a must.
Preferred 1-2 years of experience in E/M coding.
Familiarity with medical terminology.
Ability to sit and read text on a computer for extended periods.
Strong organizational skills and a conscientious work ethic.
Capable of working independently and prioritizing tasks effectively.
Maintain an approved work schedule and punctuality.
Fluent in English (required).
