The Business Consultant works with digital transformation and IT leadership to identify and solve critical problems spanning hardware, software, and data and its use. This role translates complex business problems into practical solutions in the form of compelling presentations and data visualizations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Must be able to manage suite of critical, internal projects for multiple stakeholders.

This position is responsible for, but not limited to:
• Identifying and analyzing business problems at the intersection of data, technology, and process
• Managing projects throughout the entire project management lifecycle, from Initiation to Closeout
• Creating robust, executive-ready deliverables and presentations
• Providing compelling data visualizations
• Leading meetings and work sessions with a broad set of stakeholders, while projecting an executive presence
• Other value-additive duties as assigned

Required / Desired Skills

• Project management, including agile and waterfall methodologies (both preferred) (Required 4 Years)
  
• Business analysis and problem solving in a consultative or project setting with large, cross-functional teams (Required 4 Years)
  
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently throughout the entire project management lifecycle, from Initiation to Closeout (Required 4 Years)
  
• Experience identifying and analyzing business problems at the intersection of data, technology, and process (Required 4 Years)
  
• Experience leading meetings and work sessions with a broad set of stakeholders, while projecting an executive presence (Required 4 Years)
  
• Strong experience creating robust, executive-ready deliverables and presentations (Required 4 Years)
  
• Ability to translate complex concepts and ideas to compelling data visuals and presentations (Required 4 Years)
  
• Strong learning agility, and ability to learn new systems and concepts quickly (Required 4 Years)
  
• Experience and skill working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) (Required 4 Years)
  
• Ability to communicate to a variety of audiences (Required 4 Years)
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication (Required 4 Years)
  
• Detail-oriented (Required 4 Years)
  
• Prior experience working on State of Indiana large software or technical projects (Highly Desired 6 Months)
  
• Experience working within large enterprise or complex organizations (Highly Desired 1 Years)
  
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) (Highly Desired 1 Years)
