Job Description

Position Overview:
The Accounting Intern will support the accounting team with tasks such as financial reporting, data entry, reconciliations, and audits. This role offers hands-on experience in accounting and financial management in a dynamic environment. This internship is approximately 20 hours a week, flexible with your school schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
• Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Support the reconciliation of bank statements, accounts payable, and receivable.
• Help prepare invoices and process payments.
• Assist in internal audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain organized financial files and documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
